Twila “Jane” (Albin) Shell, 86, of Lincoln, died March 7, 2010. She was born on May 20, 1923 at Salem, NE to Raymond Charles Albin and Carol Berniece (Smith) Albin. She was married to Marvin Howard Shell on May 26, 1946 at Lincoln, NE.
She was a Lincoln resident since 1942 and a former secretary. Those of you who have known Twila through the years will remember her as a talented musician. She could hear a piece of music and immediately sit down and play it without music. Whenever she was asked how she could do this she would always say “she couldn’t explain it, that it was a God given gift.” Marvin and Twila celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on May 26, 1996.
Visitation: Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (3/9/2010) at the funeral home.
Service: Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 North 27th Street, Lincoln, NE with Pastor George Robie officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin H. Shell; sisters, Sharon Vanosdall, Marquette, NE; Carol Hruby, Las Vegas, NV, Ida Riggs, Lincoln, NE; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Sandra & Ardith.
